Nigerian businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has reportedly been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja following a legal dispute involving social media activist VeryDarkMan. According to reports, Blord was arraigned before a Federal High Court on April 1, 2026, where he faced multiple allegations connected to the controversy. 

The issue stems from claims made by VeryDarkMan, who accused Blord of using his identity without permission for promotional purposes. He alleged that Blord created fake flight tickets bearing his name, suggesting he was scheduled to attend an event in Onitsha for the launch of a product.In addition, Blord was accused of falsely claiming that he paid ₦500 million to secure VeryDarkMan as a brand ambassador.

 There were also allegations that he publicly stated the activist had endorsed certain business ventures, including a digital platform.VeryDarkMan further claimed that billboards and promotional materials featuring his image were produced and circulated without his consent, giving the impression that he was officially affiliated with the brand.However, the activist has strongly denied all the claims, maintaining that he does not accept advertising or promotional deals. 

He emphasized that his stance on endorsements has always been clearly stated across his social media platforms.Following the court proceedings, Blord was ordered to remain in custody for about 26 days while the case continues. The situation has since drawn widespread attention online, with many awaiting further developments as legal proceedings unfold.
